Suzie has invited us to post using the sentence starter “If I Were”.  It was fun to do.  If you do it, pop over to let her know, as she is putting a link up to people’s blogs.  I found it fun to do.  Without further ado, here’s mine……..

If I were a month I’d be April.

If I were a day I’d be Sunday.

If I were a time of day I’d be midnight.

If I were a font I’d be CK Monogram. (Imagine an invitation to the Mad Hatter‘s Tea Party.)

If I were a planet I’d be Mars.

If I were a direction I’d be South West.

If I were a piece of furniture I’d be a gothic candelabrum.

If I were a liquid I’d be lava.

If I were a gemstone I’d be an opal.

If I were a tree I’d be a flame tree.

If I were an element I’d be fire.

If I were a tool I’d be a jack hammer.

If I were a flower I’d be a black pansy.

If I were an element of weather I’d be rain.

If I were a musical instrument I’d be a cello.

If I were a colour I’d be dark purple.

If I were an emotion I’d be joy.

If I were a fruit I’d be dragon fruit.

If I were a sound I’d be a raindrop hitting a pond.

If I were a car I’d be the Bat Mobile in The Dark Knight.

If I were a food I’d be a home made cup cake.

If I were a place I’d be the Antarctic.

If I were material I’d be hand made black lace.

If I were a taste I’d be honey.

If I were a scent I’d be memorable.

If I were a body part I’d be the left hand.

If I were a song I’d be The Toccata and Fugue in D minor by Johann Sebastian Bach.

If I were a bird I’d be a weiro.

If I were a gift I’d be unusual.

If I were a city I’d be isolated.

If I were a door I’d open into a night garden.

If I were a pair of shoes I’d be a pair of New Rock’s Metallic Power.

If I were a poem I’d be a haiku.
